As that’s what a holiday should be: recharging your batteries and enjoying time with family and friends. For an unforgettable holiday experience which lasts well into the spring. The best tips for nature-lovers, romanticists, gourmets, adventurers and families:

Tip no. 1: “Total Local“ – that’s what the best of Flachau tastes like

#totallocal #flachau #alpinecuisine #flachaubeef #regionality #flachaurestauranteurs

Winter holiday and good food simply belong together on a holiday in the Salzburger Sportwelt. Never is your appetite larger than after a wonderful active day in the fresh air. So it’s quite convenient that in Flachau farmers and restauranteurs have teamed up to found the co-operation “Total Local“. The focus is on the local top product “Flachau beef“, which forms the basis of newly-interpreted regional classics. Never before was the wish of the guests for transparency and authenticity so great as today. They want to know exactly what lands on the table and above from where it comes from. The hosts in Flachau comply with this wish in the best way possible: a new “Total Local 21” dish, “Ragout of Flachau beef in root juice with sage polenta and celery purée” is on the menu in Flachau restaurants. www.flachau.com

Tip no. 2: Eben im Pongau – couldn’t be more family-friendly

#montepopolo #eben #skitouren #familienfest #skitouren #monti

The monte popolo, a winter sports adventure mountain in Eben, delights the whole family. The small, yet charming ski area situated directly on the motorway is a real insider tip for all ages: the ski slopes are wide and open, the lifts comfortable. The Kinderland, photo points and the fun park including video run, timed run and inviting huts enjoy plenty of fun and variety. With a bit a luck winter sports enthusiasts might even meet the popular mascot “Monti“, who’s on hand for selfie photos. The ski tour route on the monte popolo offers the opportunity to gain off-piste experience. www.eben.at

#balloonrides #filzmoos #balloonglow #balloontrophy

Winter in Filzmoos offers perfect conditions for hot air ballooning: over the last forty years the resort has developed into the largest meet for the international ballooning circuit in the Alps. From 9th to 23rd January 2021 the 42nd Dopgas Balloon Trophy Filzmoos takes places with around 50 teams from ten different nations, competing against each other during various challenges.
