Skiing suddenly feels like pure pleasure. Where is the best place to experience this adventure? On the slopes of Zauchensee, of course, where snow is guaranteed until spring. Downhill world champion Michael Walchhofer will be there too!

Early morning skiing in Zauchensee – this is a truly special experience and perhaps the most beautiful way to ski before the day has even begun. Empty gondolas as far as the eye can see, taking you and your fellow skiers up the mountain. Then take a deep breath and enjoy the fresh morning air. Finally, you're off – you feel the wind in your face and can enjoy the peace and freedom of the early winter morning.

For passionate skiers, there’s nothing better than skiing into the dawning day. Early in the morning, you have the slopes of the Zauchensee ski area almost to yourself. And when the sun sends its first rays over the mountain peaks, you can leave your tracks in the freshly groomed snow. Coffee will come later. And we promise, the morning has never tasted so good.

Right now, in March and April, it's worth getting up early – because many businesses and ski lifts open extra early and give you something you rarely experience: slopes all to yourself, absolute peace and quiet, and the magic of the first tracks in fresh spring snow. In Zauchensee, you will ski in a small group, accompanied by staff from the lift company, ski schools, hotels, the tourist board and downhill world champion Michael Walchhofer. The crowning glory is a hearty breakfast together at the Gamskogelhütte. A special highlight: Michael Walchhofer is also there to tell exciting stories in a cosy atmosphere.
