Don't worry, this is not a new reality show from the makers of "Say Yes to the Dress". One thing in common: they contribute to the most beautiful day in the life of a couple. There are so many important things to take care of as a bride and groom before the wedding. Thank goodness there are people who love to take over some of these tasks. Johanna Springer from Wagrain is one of them - and she does it with pure passion.Even as a child, Johanna knew exactly what she wanted to do in the future. " I am probably one of the few people who chose their profession as a child. You could say I always wanted to be a florist. I have always been interested in flowers and plants and I'm still fascinated by how they grow and how versatile the plant world is," she says.
When giving advice, she likes to recommend colours that suit the season. "I try to be a pacifist, also when it comes to plants. That's why everything that grows is welcome. Even the so-called "weeds" can have their charm," laughs Johanna.
I wondered how much time such a flower decoration, including planning, would take. Johanna explained that it is not possible to make a general statement. She has already spent three days on small weddings with 25 guests, but also only two days on a huge wedding with 300 people. It all depends on the wishes and ideas of the bride and groom. She usually takes an hour for the initial meeting; she doesn’t charge for all phone calls and emails in between. "Inspiration doesn't come when you want it to, it just appears, in daily life, and that's what I love about it."
