Don’t you believe it? Then read the following lines and you’re sure to find your perfect family highlight for your autumn holidays. Let’s go!

Escape Game in Radstadt

Solving a mystery is a special adventure for the whole family. The mystery of the 3 towers in Radstadt is in your hands. You and your team will go on a journey and experience a thrilling adventure that will take you into mystical buildings and walls and present you with exciting riddles. Autumn Special at the Therme Amadé Spa in Altenmarkt-Zauchensee

Splashing around in the water is always great fun for you and your whole family. The looping slide in particular is always a mega highlight for me. The cool rocket launch surprises me every time. PS: There is currently a special family autumn deal at Therme Amadé Spa. Click your way in, it’ll definitely be worth it. :).

Liechtensteinklamm Gorge in St. Johann

From the spa you can now enter the gorge. The Liechtensteinklamm gorge in St. Johann is open daily from 09:00 am to 4:00 pm until 2nd November. The “HELIX” spiral staircase in particular never ceases to amaze young and old alike. After climbing a few steps into the gorge, the sight of the impressive natural water spectacle is all the more beautiful. I really want to know exactly how many steps there are. Are you counting with me? That would be cool :).

Family Run and Lumberjackhut in Wagrain-Kleinarl

Do you fancy a chairlift ride up the mountain in the autumn holidays followed by fun on the slide? Perfect, then take the Champion Shuttle in Kleinarl up the mountain and into the adventure. From the top station the fun really starts. The circular trail is 2.5 km long. Halfway along the trail, we’ll get something to eat at the Lumberjack organic mountain restaurant. Fresh vegetables and herbs come from their own garden, the food is organic and regional, and the food hall is really worth seeing. You can find more information here:

Kitiwapf Eben im Pongau

Along the children’s animal hiking trail in Eben we meet various animals such as the owl, a bear or a wild boar. We have the choice between the easier (and also pushchair-friendly) “Explorer’s Trail” and the “Adventurer Trail”. This time we decided on the “Explorer’s Trail”. Passing various forest animals, we make our way to the Moosalm for refreshments. A small surprise awaits us at the Moosalm as a reward for completing the animal stations. The Moosalm is open until the end of October and we can really enjoy the regional delicacies.

Picture Book Trail on the Rossbrand in Filzmoos on 28th October with the Papageno Cable Car

We are planning a special excursion for Saturday 28th October. We will take the Papageno Cable Car up the mountain in Filzmoos. The new picture book trail in Filzmoos starts at the mountain station of the Papageno Cable Car and takes us on a short loop through the forest and ends at the Filz & Moor nature play park. The picture book trail awakens the children’s spirit of exploration and discovery and immerses us in the mystical world of the moors. So up the mountain and into the “moor adventure”.

Lucky Flitzer in Flachau

I can hear the children shouting from afar: “Wow, what fun, yippee”. Immediately the kids are all excited and want to get going. The Lucky Flitzer in Flachau is the ideal autumn holiday excursion for us. The toboggan lift takes us comfortably to the start. Afterwards, over a length of 1,100 metres, 5 roundabouts and 2 jumps as well as further waves and curves ensure an unforgettable ride. The “all-weather toboggan run” on rails is a cool adrenaline kick for young and old. More information about the opening hours can be found here:
